1. Scope

If you use CIZARO on behalf of a company or other entity, this Privacy Policy applies to that entity and its authorized users.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the products, modules, integrations, device permissions, and service plan you use. We may collect:

- Usage and analytics information: feature usage, performance, errors, service quality, aggregated/non-personal analytics, and other information used to improve, secure, and maintain the software and services.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, host, license, activate, register, maintain, secure, and support the software and services;
- process orders, subscriptions, renewals, account administration, billing, and customer service;
- provide updates, patches, maintenance releases, bug fixes, improvements, and new features;
- respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical, security, or service issues;
- monitor and analyze use of the software, improve services, maintain and update data, address errors or interruptions, and enhance future services;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, piracy, unauthorized access, abuse, security risks, and technical problems;
- send confirmations, notices, service messages, support communications, and business communications according to your contact preferences;
- produce aggregated or anonymous research, benchmarking, or analytical information that does not identify individual users or customers; and
- comply with applicable laws, legal processes, authority requests, and enforce our agreements.
4. Legal Basis and Consent
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate legal bases to process personal information, such as performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or another legally permitted basis. Where our mobile applications request device permissions, you may grant or deny those permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work without the permissions needed for that feature.
5. Customer Content
You are responsible for the content you and your authorized users enter, upload, store, or process through CIZARO. We host and use customer content only as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, support, secure, improve, integrate, and maintain the software and related services, or as otherwise allowed by our agreements and applicable law.
6. Aggregated and Non-Personal Data
We may aggregate and analyze non-personally identifiable data to improve the software, maintain services, address errors or interruptions, enhance future services, design promotions, produce anonymous research data, and provide business comparisons or insights that do not identify individual customers or users.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We may disclose information:
- to our subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, hosting partners, authorized resellers, service providers, and support providers acting on our behalf;
- to third-party services or integrations that you choose to connect with or use together with CIZARO;
- to app stores, payment processors, communications providers, analytics/crash reporting providers, infrastructure providers, and security providers where needed to operate and support our apps and services;
- when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or authority requests;
- to enforce our agreements, investigate potential violations, protect the software, protect users, or protect the public;
- to detect, prevent, or address fraud, piracy, security, technical, or operational issues; and
- in connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring, or assignment of rights, where permitted by law.
We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect user data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.
8. International Data Processing
CIZARO is a global company. We may access, process, transfer, or store information in multiple countries, including the United States and countries outside the United States. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your country.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. You are responsible for safeguarding your username, password, devices, network, and account access. You should use strong passwords and notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access, theft, or loss of credentials.
10. Data Backup, Retention, and Deletion
Unless your order or subscription specifically includes backup or restoration services, CIZARO does not provide backup or restoration services. You are responsible for regularly backing up your content.
We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the software and services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, protect security, maintain business records, and protect our rights. Trial data may be deleted if a license is not purchased before the trial period expires. After termination, we may remove or destroy content, data, and files stored on our servers where permitted by our agreements and applicable law.
When we delete an account or data, some information may be retained where legally or operationally required, such as tax, accounting, audit, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, backup, or regulatory records. Backup copies are deleted or overwritten according to our normal backup lifecycle.
11. Account and Data Deletion Requests
If a CIZARO app or service allows account creation, you may request deletion of your CIZARO-managed account and associated personal data. This applies mainly to CIZARO mobile apps, SaaS services, hosted services, online portals, cloud-connected services, and support/account records managed by CIZARO. For desktop or on-premises installations where user accounts, operators, and business database records are controlled by the customer organization, deletion may require action or approval by the organization administrator and may not automatically delete local/on-premises business records controlled by that organization. You can initiate a deletion request:
- inside the app, where an account deletion option is available, usually from account, profile, settings, privacy, or support options; or
- outside the app by emailing Support@cizaro.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
Please include your company name, user email, app/service name, and enough information for us to verify the account. We may need to verify your identity, role, or authority before deleting business account data. Deleting an account may permanently remove access to the account and related services. Where the data belongs to or is controlled by a customer organization, CIZARO may direct the request to that organization or require administrator approval. If subscription, billing, tax, legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, or audit obligations require extra steps or retention, we will explain what data must be retained and why.
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete valid requests within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days unless a different period is required or permitted by applicable law. Deleting an app from your device does not automatically delete your CIZARO account or business data.
12. Your Privacy Choices
You may update registration information and contact preferences where the software or account settings allow. You may revoke app permissions through your device settings, unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications where available, or contact us to request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, deletion, or other privacy assistance where required by applicable law.
13. Medical and Health Information
CIZARO software and services are not HIPAA-ready or HIPAA-compliant. If you use the software with medical or health information, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy and health information laws.
14. Children
CIZARO products and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent or other legal authorization is required.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on our website. Your continued use of the software or services after the effective date of an updated policy means you accept the updated policy, where permitted by law.
